Nike art gallery

I found the place by chance driving in Lekki with my sister. She loves art, I love african art more so when we saw the sign 'turn right to Nike Art gallery' we turned right. 

The place is a real 'treasure' if you love african art. The curator, Nike Davies-Okundaye showed us round the gallery, telling us the story behind almost every oil painting and indigo print fabric made by women in Oshogbo. 

She has the most amazing collection of oil paintings from the artist Rom Ishichei www.romisichei.com, which if i wasn't a student and financially-challenged, I would have bought at least one from.
